Una Stef & Stefán S. Stefánsson, together with a band, present material from a new album with music and lyrics by Stefán, sung by Una Stef. The album bears the name of one composition from the repertoire: House Number One. Stefán S. Stefánsson has been very active in the Icelandic jazz scene for decades and left many works and lyrics. His daughter, the musician Una Stef, will perform selected songs by her father that they have arranged together - melodic jazz with a unique twist.
The couple have brought along some of the country's leading jazz instrumentalists to perform this varied repertoire. Along with the music performance, they will tell stories about the creation of the songs and share fun memories from their collaboration. An album with this material will be released in the next few days.
